Listening to G.W. Bush give his reasons for Being There as President was painful. No acceptance of responsibility, just rambling review of his greatest "hits": Katrina--we'd have landed on him if he had landed in Air Force One, Torture ("wait did he just admit to a war crime?"), people just did not get it--misunderstood again.
Shakespeare could not even have fit this man and his minions into a believable tragedy. Good night George W. Bush and if the veil of ignorance and conceit is ever lifted from your brow, I hope it comes slowly--because if you ever see the truth whole you will despair as we do of your woeful and complete perfidy as the 43rd and worst President of the United States. |
