And we did. So many emotions greet the news that we, as the Democratic Party, have selected Illinois Senator Barack Obama as our designated nominee for President of the United States.

SO much to say. In the next few weeks, I will be consulting you listeners on a new plan of action for our country, for our party, for ourselves. I am honored today to be a part of history. I am proud to live in our country, as proud as I have ever been!

Let's celebrate a few minutes and get back to the mission of TAKING OUR COUNTRY BACK!
