DENVER, CO - Wednesday, September 17, following Senator
Obama's visit to the Centennial State, senior economic advisor Austan
Goolsbee will detail Senator Obama's economic plans in speeches to
business groups in Aurora and Broomfield. After this week's devastating
economic news, Goolsbee - a Robert P. Gwinn Professor of Economics at
the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business - will outline
Obama's plans for jumpstarting our economy, including Senator Obama's
plans for modernizing the rules of the road to suit a 21st century
market - rules that would protect American investors and consumers. He
will also discuss Senator Obama's commitment to our middle class
families, by cutting taxes for 95% of Americans and protecting them from
predatory lending procedures. Both events are open to the press.
