I know, I know. Our choices are desperately serious this year--but it is the flirting stage with candidates. While I am GLAD there is not debate this weekend, I have been grateful for them.

Hillary has been better than some expected and still disappoints many; Joe Biden is funnier than any of them; Bill Richardson is sincere and experienced, but keeps firing ill-considered remarks. Barack Obama is drawing huge crowds and has a learning curve on the national stage. John Edwards is angry and fiery--is it working? And why does he own stocks Rush Limbaugh can skewer? Dennis Kucinich is honest and pithy and struggles to be noticed. Christopher Dodd is running for the cabinet it seems. And Mike Gravel, is Mike Gravel.

Okay--so who are you liking? Who makes your summer of 2007 heart beat faster? Could the states be CRAZIER in setting up primaries so soon?

Tell me all about it and thanks!

I like Dennis best. He is much more animated this year than in the past and makes the most sense. Like you said, he isn't getting enough air time at the debates. Edwards is also working; he seems more credible to me than Barak or Hillary, who I highly suspect are in varying degrees indebted to the corporations.

Erin,

I like the flirting analogy. Though on the other side of the fence, (wait that would mean Republican, how about six fields over, that works for Libertarian) I've been tempted by Ron Paul to consider coming back to the party with the smaller government message.

I think the most exciting thing coming out this year has to be the Christian Conservatives threat to run a third party candidate if Rudy gets the Republican nod.
